Technote Number: 1143712

Problem:
This issue was addressed in Domino Off-Line Services 6.5.1.

Excerpt from the Lotus Notes and Domino Release 6.5.1 MR fix list (available at
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/lotus/):

DOLS
SPR# JGRP5PXFPV - Added a warning to the user if the DOLS uninstall encounters
an archive.

This issue is also captured in the Notes/Domino 6.5 Release Notes, as follows:

DOLS uninstall deletes local archive

If you have a local archive that you created using the Domino Web Access
client, the archive is deleted when you uninstall DOLS. If you must uninstall
DOLS, and you have a local archive on your system that you want to keep, make a
backup copy of this archive file to a directory outside of the Domino Web
Access program directory before you uninstall DOLS. You can view this local
archive using the Notes client.

Associated SPRs:
JGRP5PXFPV

Steps to Reproduce Problem:

1. Access your Domino 6.5 mail file via Domino Web Access 6.5.
2. Create a local archive. The archive database is placed in the \DOLS
subdirectory.
3. Uninstall DOLS using the menu item.
4. DOLS does not prompt you that your local archive is about to be deleted.
